Following the outburst from the government house in Anambra, by Mr Governor, Charles Soludo, through writing, which was read by millions of Nigerians, about his predecessor, Mr Peter Obi, the Coordinator of the SS/SE Youths for Tinubu, Hon. Umukoro Jeremiah, in Warri, Delta State, have applauded Mr Soludo, in his boldness to speak political life, to the Igbo populace.
Reacting to the over 24 paragraphs response of governor Soludo, the Coordinator of the SS/SE Youths for Tinubu, Hon Umukoro, reiterated that they were convinced that Peter Obi was out for a game and purposely not for the interest of Nigerians,
He said “ The governor of Anambra is lucky to have opened up to Nigerians on the antecedents of the Labor Party presidential flag bearer Mr Peter Obi, in Anambra State. The forefathers of Igbo Land, would not have forgiven Soludo if he had played to the gallery or sit on the fence on issues of national discuss and of great concerns.
“Most Nigerians watched Soludo, live on channels tv. He tried all he could to dodge talking about Peter Obi and also the Central Bank governor, when questions were raised about what he Mr Peter Obi said about his investment for Anambra people while he was the governor and the currency redesigning policy of the central bank governor, respectively.
“Nigeria is going to experience a lot in this coming 2023 elections. The attitudes of the Peter Obi’s supporters had led to detailed exposure of their worshiped president on the ballots. We thank God, to still have leaders like Soludo, and some other Igbo leaders that still believe Peter Obi is not the right way to go. They know Peter Obi, more than any Nigerian, thinking he’s the messiah.
“In life, every well thinking person must at all times have a plan B in all they do. It is very necessary in life. As in the case of the southeast, they would always throw their eggs in one basket and show violence against any Igbo Leader that tend to give a better direction.
“Politics is a game of number, like Mr Soludo, rightly pointed out, ‘the minority will always have their Say but the majority would always have their Way’, that is politics everywhere in the world.
“Why are the two major political parties not having presidential candidates from the Southeast? Does it mean there were no leaders that showed concern about micro zoning the presidency to the South East?
“Leaders like Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, governor Dave Umahi, Governor Hope Uzodinma, Senator Rochas Owele Okorocha, even Peter Obi, and a host of others, battled for the micro zoning of the presidency to the south East. With the voice of Orji Kalu and others, as minority, as the case was, in both political parities respectively. The people from the Southeast, were not obstructed, neither denied from having their Say.
“At the primaries, for the APC, the majority had their Way. In the PDP, Peter Obi, defected to the Labor Party to chase his dreams because he knows he’s not of the majority in the PDP. leaders like Orji Kalu, didn’t have to kill them selves nor leave their political party because emotions can not be attached to realities, knowing that politics is all about numbers and if the southeast does not have the support from other regions in the nation, there’s no head way to the presidency.
“That is their opinion, it shouldn’t result into insulting or calling them names neither does it make them betrayals, just like Edward Clark, has joined the thrombotic and sentimental judgement and an archaic submissions. Having the number is a basic fact about politics, it’s known all over the world.
“With the recent happenings, how the supporters of Peter Obi, have degenerated into linking the attacks on the Military check point at governor Soludo’s, home town, as the result of the comments of governor Soludo, about Peter Obi, is an attempt to put fears on people not to air their views nor opinions, else, they are marked for attacks. Is that Democratic enough?
“Who can challenge the records put up by governor Soludo, a sitting governor, who has all facts and figures on his desk? Who should Nigerians believe, is it Peter Obi or is it Soludo? All Soludo said are equatable to the conditions and the rate of bad roads, with rise in poverty rate, everywhere in Anambra, while and before leaving as the governor and yes, he saved money for Anambra people. So many people are beclouded by sentiments and emotions and such insensitive attitudes are prerequisites to democracy and as such, are detrimental to the growth of any nation.
“The Southeast must be guided against putting their eggs in one basket. They were lucky to have people like Senator Orji Kalu, Governor Hope Uzodinma, Senator Rochas Okorocha, Governor Dave Umahi and others that stood as ‘plan B’, for the region to have received much infrastructural attention from Mr President Mohammadu Buhari, whom the region did not support during past elections. ‘An organization without a plan B, C nor D, is not planing to survive.” – Orji Uzor Kalu, would always say.
“People should leave governor Soludo to concentrate and build what past governors failed to do in Anambra state. At least he gave Peter Obi, free hands to go about his campaign, something Peter Obi, deprived other political parties when he wanted to return for his second term as Anambra governor. The records are there for you to verify, so, Peter Obi can not become a saint overnight, Nigerians must Beware.” He said.
