APC Under Divine Scrutiny: Prophet Arogun Warns party on Manipulations, Sends strong message to Gov. Otti Ahead of 2027In a dramatic turn of spiritual commentary on Nigeria’s evolving political landscape, the General Overseer of Light of the World International Church, Prophet Joshua Arogun has issued a fresh prophetic warning concerning the internal operations of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the political future of Abia State.
Speaking during weekend prayer gathering in Lagos, the prophet delivered what he described as “a message directly from the throne of heaven,” cautioning political stakeholders not to ignore the signs unfolding across the nation.
Prophet Arogun’s message closely echoed earlier predictions credited to other prophetic voices in the country, particularly highlighting concerns about the APC’s internal dynamics under its current national leadership. According to him, divine scrutiny has intensified over the party, and any attempt to impose candidates or manipulate its democratic processes would lead to automatic electoral defeat.
“Heaven is watching the process, not just the outcome,” the prophet declared.
“Any undemocratic means of bringing candidates into the APC such as imposition, manipulation, or forced consensus will trigger an automatic loss at the polls. This is a spiritual law already activated.”
He explained that the future of the APC in upcoming elections rests not on financial strength or political alliances, but on adherence to fairness, transparency, and respect for the will of party members.
Turning to Abia State, Prophet Arogun delivered what many attendees described as a precise and unusually direct prophetic message. He noted that the state is entering a phase of intense political realignment, where old and new power blocs will clash for dominance.
According to him, even if the sitting governor, Dr. Alex Otti, decides to join the APC, he must be prepared to undergo a full and fair contest rather than expecting an automatic ticket.
“If Governor Otti joins the APC, he should come with humility and readiness to participate in the full electoral process,” Prophet Joshua warned.
“There are long-standing leaders in Abia state with structures, deep grassroots loyalty, and the capacity to unseat him if he underestimates them. People like Nkiru Onyejeocha and Orji Uzor Kalu are deeply rooted with massive follower-ship and acceptance by the people.
He emphasized that the political terrain in Abia state would shift significantly before the next electoral cycle, predicting a season of broken alliances, unexpected mergers, and surprise contenders emerging from within established local networks.
The prophet concluded with a broader message for Nigeria’s political class, stressing the need for peace, justice, and integrity in leadership.
“Nigeria is the assignment,” he said softly.
“Only righteousness will stabilize this nation. Only fairness will preserve the mandate. Let those who have ears hear.”
The congregation responded with prayer, reflection, and palpable tension, as the message quickly circulated across social media and political circles.
