The Iri Ji Ohamoha, which he revived, has grown to become a yearly cultural festival that binds every Ohafia son and daughter together, both at home and in the diaspora. It stands as a celebration of unity, thanksgiving, and the rich cultural heritage of our clan. Through this festival, our people come together to appreciate the blessings of the land and to promote peace, love, and togetherness among all Ohafians.
Beyond reviving the festival, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu also built the Ohafia Unity Hall in Elu Ohafia, a symbolic edifice dedicated to fostering the bond and oneness of our people.
We love you, our son, and we will never forget all that you have done for us. You are truly a blessing to Ohafia, a leader with vision, and a man who values culture, community, and unity. It is no wonder you earned the title, Nmiri na Ezoro Oha 1 of Ohafia, the water that flows for all.
We are glad that this great legacy is being continued again this year, on 25th October 2025, at Achichi Elu Ohafia. The spirit of unity and culture you rekindled continues to live on.
Once again, we give honor to whom honor is due, Rt. Hon. Barr. Ifeanyi Uchendu (Ph.D) thank you for gifting Ohafia a legacy that will live on for generations. You brought life back into our culture after it had been abandoned for many years and made it flourish wherever it was revived. Thank you, our great son.
