Nnamdi Kanu was arrested some months ago because he wanted unity and peace in Nigeria, so he fought for Biafrans to have their own freedom, but unfortunately it led him to prison and Biafrans were upset because he was arrested and kept under custody. His arrest triggered people In the East to declare Monday as seat at home and it was compulsory. The seat at home was initiated in Biafran land as they prayed for the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
According to the Nigerian Appeal Court sitting in Abuja, Nnamdi Kanu has been released and discharged. After his release, Nnamdi Kanu made a statement saying “Biafran will come and nobody can stop it”. His statement got the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) happy and they kept on jubilation and celebrating the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
