The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh has described his successor, Victor Oye as a reckless and misguided fellow.
Umeh said this while responding to questions on Arise TV on Saturday, July 9, 2022. The Ex-APGA Chieftain said that the current National Chairman of APGA was reckless in saying that Peter Obi can only achieve his Presidential ambition under APGA. “Such statement can only come from a misguided fellow”, Umeh remarked.
Umeh who until recently was a member of APGA, had on many occasions echoed the same statement credited to Victor Oye. During the build up to the 2021 governorship election, Umeh described the Labour party presidential candidate as a stakeholder who left his home and got stranded in another party.
Chief Umeh on several occasions described Obi as a failure, noting that his successor Willie Obiano was a better governor.
Recall that Chief Victor Umeh contested the APGA Senatorial primaries against Hon Dozie Nwankwo and Uzuegbunam Okagbue but lost to Hon Nwankwo.
