In the bid to securing the future, the Orji Uzor Kalu foundation was in attendance and ably represented by Mr Nasiru Ibrahim and Bernard Ogbe in the 3rd annual mental health international conference held in Abuja, by the Secure D Future International Initiatives. (SDF) in commemoration of the United nation’s world mental health day.
This conference witnessed the presence of personalities of great impacts as they dissected societal issues raging from human trafficking, Child Abuse. Road signs, usage and safety. Addictions and general mental disabilities.
The SDF International founder, Sa’Adatu Adamu in her welcome address noted that mental health is a topic that should be discussed in our homes, schools, work places, worship centers and our communities, also insisting that both the government agencies, NGO’s, CSO’s, religious and community leaders must come together to create this awareness for mental health issues and it’s stigmatization with collective collaboration and partnership.
