We have searched for better words and adjective to qualify the year 1960. So symbolic a year of great events for our nation Nigeria in which also, a man of this great feast was born, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu.
Life is full of ups and down, characterized by the shows of unending tributes attained in decades of six plus one. He’s 61 today.
Life can be said to be Fulfilled by the roles played in the course of the existence of man, from what he does, achieved and all other good intentions drafted by nature for the future. Dr Orji Uzor Kalu can be said to have his life fulfilments with numerous positive portraits exhibited so far for mankind in his history over these six decades plus of his life.
Born in 1960, the same year our fragile nation Nigeria got her independence, his political encounters can not be detached from the good purpose upon which he was sent from above. The wisdom born with him on this day speaks volume enough in his willingness to serve publicly, of which he has enough in his achieve to show for.
Public service comes with throwing of stones, these stones he had received but yet, he remained stronger and ever willing to complete the purpose upon which he was created. He surges higher by the day in the midst of tribulations and it seemed, the higher the tribulations the smoother he sails.
For humanity sake, the establishment of a helping hand, “Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation” is speaking volume in the lives of the hopeless and vulnerable in the society. His foundation had in a roll delivered to mankind, the warmth rescue needed to get life going. Beneficiaries kept their Hopes Alive as they received benevolent gestures, reviving health, businesses and life values.
There’s no doubt the Senate Chief whip, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, knows the pains of his people. He anticipates for right things to be done in sanctity, justified by the good will of human unending wants. This character of he’s had paved for him among the people the strength to carry on. His foot prints are forever remembered by those he had in a way contributed and raised from the gutters of life.
He’s seen as the future hopes of our troubled nation Nigeria. His goodwill, zero tribal tolerance had distinguished him, in his dealings with all he had contact with. This quality of he’s had given him an edge, making him a rally point in the heart of many for a better Nigeria and a better tomorrow.
Today, we the staffers of the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation celebrate an icon, a father and indeed a leader. We thank God for His undying love and mercies and for adding another year of fruitfulness to the life of our Boss, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu. We pray for good health upon him and above all pray to God for protection over all his endeavors, wishing him the best life has to offer in the countenance of the most High God.
