I heard with great shock the passing away of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, a true general in God’s vineyard, a spiritual father, and a beacon of light to our generation. This news is deeply painful and heartbreaking to me personally, as Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai was not only a revered man of God but a man whose life touched countless souls across Nigeria and beyond.He was a man of uncommon wisdom, humility, and unwavering faith. Through his ministry, many found healing, hope, and salvation. He stood as a pillar of truth and righteousness and remained a voice of divine direction in trying times.
My heartfelt condolences go to his beloved family, the Asaga Ohafia community, the good people of Ohafia, the Abia State Christian community, and indeed, all Nigerians who were touched by his impactful life and ministry.
We have truly lost a spiritual icon, a father, and a nation-builder. May the God of all comfort strengthen his family and grant them peace in this difficult time.
May his gentle, loving, and impactful soul rest peacefully in the bosom of the Lord.
