In a passionate appeal to Nigerians, especially the people of Abia State, renowned industrialist and technology guru, Dr. Henry Isiguzo (Ikemba), has emphasized the urgent need for citizens to reclaim their place in the nation’s decision-making process by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
Speaking at a recent youth development forum, Dr. Isiguzo described the PVC as “the most powerful tool in the hands of every Nigerian citizen”, urging people not to underestimate their ability to influence governance and policy through the ballot.
In His Words:” If we want to see real change in our roads, schools, healthcare, security, and economy, we must first change how we participate,” Dr. Isiguzo said. “Democracy begins with the voter, not the politician.”
Known for his leadership in the tech and manufacturing sectors, Dr. Isiguzo stressed that transformational leadership begins with informed choices, and that those choices are only possible when citizens engage the system by registering and voting.
He encouraged especially the youth and first-time voters to see PVC registration not as a chore, but as an act of empowerment.
As Nigeria approaches another crucial election cycle, Dr. Isiguzo’s call serves as a timely reminder that nation-building is a collective responsibility and it begins with the vote.
He summarily pinpointed that Collectively, through improved political behaviour, The Actualization Of An Ideal Society Is Feasible.
