Earlier today 3rd September,2025 the leadership of OLD BENDE PROGRESSIVE UNION,(OBPU),met with the leadership of ALL NGWA CULTURAL ORGANIZATION, the umbrella body of UKWA/NGWA People to officially inform them of the planned Grand Reception by the People of Old Bende under the auspices of OBPU in appreciation of H.E.DR. ALEX C. OTTI’S GIANT STRIDES IN OFFICE.The Chairman contact and Mobilization of OBPU, CHIEF JERRY O.KALU,OSIMIRI, highlighted the various achievements of DR.OTTI’S ADMINISTRATION in Abia which prompted OLD BENDE PEOPLE in resolving to Say THANK YOU to his Excellency.
While responding, ELDER DR.SUNDAY NWOSU, PRESIDENT ALL NGWA CULTURAL ORGANIZATION praised Dr. Alex C.Otti’s transformational leadership in Abia and pledged their support and cooperation towards the success of the programme.
Also,he used the opportunity to call for the revival of OLD BENDE/UKWA NGWA GENERAL ASSEMBLY which have existed over the years in order to reinforce the existing unity between OLD BENDE and UKWA NGWA PEOPLE.
