Bourdex, the kind of David not needed in Abia.
I read a piece over three weeks ago titled ‘Let Otti breath!’ credited to Chief David Ogba Onuoha. I had waited for a disclaimer not sure that Bourdex could allow such base writing but non came. It is a shameless delivery and from all indications written by a hatchet writer as Chief Ogba has not been noted for great penning skills in the past.
As a budding politician and telecommunications giant, no matter how desparate he is for the votes of Abia North, or even wishing to burnish his image, he would have started with his good sides and not blackmailing other successful former governors, other PDP giants with proven and consolidated vote magnets like Ouk, Ochendo and Okezie Ikpeazu who are not in any political race now. Without being told, Insulting past govs cannot send him to the Senate.
Now David Ogba, you have a good education, national honors and potently ran a pioneer telecommunications practice that employed millions of Nigerians directly and otherwise. Further more, there are humanitarian and philanthropic deeds traceable to you. Instead of threading these paved way, you chose the dark street strategy of mudslinging and rotten egg pelting that should by all standards be your last option if necessary.
Very funny is your descent into an unwanted praisesinger to a man who was in his political nappies when you were a valued PDP stakeholder and donor extraordinaire. Many opinion holders and keen watchers of Abia North politics see your ploy as a cheap and escapist strategy to launch you into the senatorial ticket. I wish you luck as it is your constitutional right but if I should advise you, you need to strategize as it is a thorny road with OUK, The former governor of Abia State, a ruthless political marshal already entrenched and highly experienced in political theatrics of Abia North.
If you doubt this, ask Senator Ohuabunwa.
Based on the historical, only a few have made it to the Senate from the LGA status, your highest political attainment recently. It is even a surprise that despite your towering CV of being an investor, employer and telecom giant, you condescended to serving as LGA chairman even as it was christened mayor to make it sound big. The truth remains that only a few in this country have vaunted to the senatorial from the lowly LGA except seen from the Shakespearean dictum ‘that loneliness is young ambitions ladder. `
Very worrisome too is that many have wondered how in all your efforts and secret donations, that all good seen in you is to be appointed a mayor in a non mayoral constitution, a mere political mess of porridge that had made many see you as nothing but a loud, buffonic mouth.
Bourdex, who the hell do you think you are? Be careful how you babble and splash unguarded statements! You may choose this style imitating some who have nothing to lose which certainly may not be in your own interest, especially against those who have been nice to you like senator T A Orji who corralled you to a PDP upward trail. Against your insinuations, has OUK and Ochendo in anyway challenged Otti? In truth, Otti publicly avowed that he is using Ouks templates, so who is stopping Otti from breathing if not you and your sycophancy?
The political climate in Abia North is potent and cannot be easily read accurately by your yapping type. As nature abhores vacuum, younger Turks are emerging, talk about Rocks Ukwu, Uko Nkole, Ben Kalu and Ude Oko, former Deputy Gov and many more. I remember vividly seeing you beside Ochendo in Okpara Auditorium in 2013 and now you are yapping as if prodded from the anus as the Igbos say.
Obviously, you are not the kind of David to tell the truth no matter whose ox is gored in Abia.
From the cultural and traditional perspectives of Ndi Igbo, ‘my son should be greater than me.’ That’s the angle of the former governors and predecessors. Please look at your size, more is expected. Otti doesn’t believe in nuisance values as you presntly portend. As a former banker he goes for solid values..
