“I totally condemn the evil act” Sen. Kalu Call On Security Agencies To Unravel those Involved In The Killing of The Couple in Bende
Chairman, Senate Committee on Privatization, Dr. Orji Kalu has condemned in strong terms the gruesome killing of a couple , Mr Jacob and Mrs Comfort Udo by unknown assailants in Etiti Ulo, Bende Local Government Area of Abia state.
The former Governor who described the act as barbaric, evil and totally unacceptable, urged security agencies to commence a robust investigation in order to bring the culprits to book.
Kalu cautioned perpetrators of criminal acts in the society, adding that the killing of the couple is devastating and shocking.
In a statement, the former governor of Abia state condoled with the families of the departed souls.
He said ” I received with sadness and shock the news of the murder of Mr Jacob and Mrs Comfort Udo.
“I totally condemn the evil act and urge security agencies to use their capacities to expose the killers of the couple.
“I commiserate with the people of Bende over this ugly incident”.
Kalu called on the people of Bende to remain calm and peaceful.
