Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu at the Committee on Industries making salient contributions to the lead debate, where they engaged the MD/CEO of the Bank of Industry, BOI, Dr. Olasupo Olusi and his Staff Members, namely; Mr. Simon Aranonu, Executive Director, Large Enterprise, Mr. Shakarau D. Omar, Executive Director, Small and Medium Enterprise, Mr. Effiong Essen, Executive Director Corporate Services and Communications, Ms. Dabel Ndagi, Executive Director, Micro Enterprise and others.
The former Governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu, while speaking at the meeting, commended the MD /CEO of BOI, Dr. Olasupo Olusi, for doing a great job since he took over as the Chief Executive Officer at BOI.
Orji Kalu who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Privatisation and Commercialization suggested that the Committee on Industries on behalf of the 10th Senate, will make laws that will help BOI get cheap credits (funds) from anywhere in the world, which they (BOI) will in turn make available to Industrialist and Nigerians who need funds to set up or enhance their businesses.
Dr. Olusi while responding to Sen. Orji’s contributions, thanked him for hitting the nail on the head, by attending to their pain point , which is sourcing cheap credit from any part of the world for their customers on behalf of government.
