It is a common knowledge that you have dedicated your life to the service of humanity, the moment you made open to the public your intentions to serve the people in the nation’s political corridor of power. This movement you commenced in the floor of the National Assembly into becoming the governor of Abia State, in 1999.
This journey, you continued as a senator representing Abia North Senatorial District in 2019, is marked by your vigor to engage the system with the instrument of good governance towards affecting the society positively, making you supper relevant amongst political gladiators the nation has ever produced.
From the sponsorship of the dual citizenship Bill to your successful eight years in office as the then governor of Abia state, has shown your total commitments to humanity in positive ways.
Abians, needed good roads, you championed their course and gave them roads, the society needed to stay healthy, you gave them free medical care. We needed to educate our children, as a visionary leader, you gave free education to that effect. All these and many more you had executed as governor. It is upon these verifiable facts of empirical evidence that we laid our trust in voting you to represent us at the Red Chambers in 2019.
Sir, your huge deposits of goodwill to Abians, especially in Abia North, in these your political years has turned us to Oliver Twist ( wanting to ask more of your representation at the Senate).
With our shoulders high, we can proudly say, that you have not in any ways, disappointed us with the mandate of the majority, in Abia North. It was upon our convictions, you were elected in 2019 as reflected in the monumental developmental strides that went beyond just making laws for the people as your constitutional responsibilities of providing quality representation in the Red Chambers.
Moreover, within four years, you have made enviable achievements in Abia North, that has opened the eyes of Abians and Nigerians in general on what kind of influence a Senator can bring to the table, in terms of developments to our communities, which baffles our imaginations.
Sir, We had no doubt that you have the experience needed at the Senate for the job and indeed, you didn’t fail to get the job done, in your achievements so far as a Senator, in your over 50 roads constructed, schools renovated, furnished and the provision of text books with other writing materials , as you have also, sank boreholes in schools and in various communities.
This is even as you did not shy away from your primary duties in the Senate. In the history of Abia State, you are number one in Bill sponsorship as demonstrated in this four years of services in the Senate.
All these accomplishments which you made, under the All Progressive Congress (APC) in just four years is highly instructive. History have on record since democracy 1999, when Abia State was in the same political flight with the then PDP at the centre, that, no Senator from Abia North nor Abia state, had achieved half of your achievements thus far.
Sir, you gave us reasons to support the All Progressive Congress in the 2019 elections. According to your words, “you will use the APC platform to bring dividends of democracy to Abia North” and in all fairness, you didn’t disappoint the people, your words became your bonds, with the people.
Once again, election is around the corner, your return to the senate to complete what you started is paramount to every well meaning Nigerians, Abians and especially THE people from Abia North. With all you had achieved with the APC in the region, we are committed in one accord, to push with you through, for more developments.
We want to assure you of our total support for the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who shares with you, the same political ideologies. You said you are “BATify” ( Bola Ahmed Tinubu) in the 2023 presidential election. Where you go, we follow as we are equally fully “BATified” in the 2023 election.
Politics as we all know, is a game of interest and our interest to having a developed society, can not at this time, be compromised nor left in the hands of inexperienced political gladiators.
