Senator Orji Kalu Fed 890 Inmates Of Kuje.
This day is made of LOVE.
Represented by his wife, Mrs Ifeoma Kalu, who had always stood by the Chief whip of the 9th Senate, Dr Orji Kalu at exigent times of turbulence, 890 inmates of Kuje prison had the grace to celebrate at a time like Christmas, 2020…
They were not left out in the tidings of the Christmas. Presenting the cooked foods and drinks to the inmates on Friday in Kuje prison, Kalu said, through his wife, that the gesture was in the spirit of the Christmas. The call from him, on wealthy and generous Nigerians to remember the needy, at this season and at all times was rolled out with emphatic emotions and expressions.
In encouragement to the inmates, his words to them, not to be wearied by their present condition, but to take such as a springboard to greater height of life was a message of hopes to live by.

Senator Kalu Arrives Ohafia To grace the home coming reception of the Umuahia Diacess Auxiliary Bishop, Michael Upkong.
This day, permitted a trip to St. Anthony’s Parish Amaekpo Ohafia for the home coming welcoming of Umuahia Catholic Diacess Auxiliary Bishop Michael Upkong, back to the Parish, in a higher ordination.
On this day, with the presence of the Chief whip of the 9th Senate, the expectations was not disappointed as his speech had in content, a relief to people in that region of Ohafia in Senator Kalu’s district.

I Arrived Igbere with my wife and children very late in the night at about 2:30am. My wife asked me if I can still make it to this occasion and I told her I will, for the love and respect I have for God and the church.
For the numerous good deeds of God to us, I’ll give two separate donations in Ndiamikpo and Ndi Uwaoma.
We will draw a project design and structures in 2021 for approval, to be executed in 2022, if God gives us life. I will ensure, that the roads, starting from the hospital road through Onyirimba to the Catholic Church and terminate at the market road at 1 kilometer.
Secondly, I will facilitate the construction of Umuahia road leading to this Bishop’s house through Hope Waddle Secondary school.
I want it done to Amikpo what is done in Okunu, Isigwu and as it is in Acha. I know you have seen what am doing in this other places? It is good I came here today, if I had not come, I would not know these roads are not accessible.
I will do in this church premises, what is done in Umuahia Cathedral. I will ensure the place is tarred all round.
You can see how am renovating schools in our communities. I found out none had been done in Amikpo, when I asked Chief Imo. So, we’re going to renovate one primary school here in Amikpo.
To the head of this parish, I will give two donations. First, I’ll give #250,000.00 to paint this church. Secondly, this reception done in honor of the Bishop, I will give another #250,000.00 to support the event.

Briefly after the celebration of mass at the St. Anthony’s Parish Amaekpo in Ohafia LGA, The Chief whip of the 9th Senate, Dr Orji Kalu made a courtesy call at the Hill Top residence of the Christian leader and popular evangelist, Rev. Uma Ukpai where he spent few minutes in brief engagement before departing Ohafia.

Orji Kalu attended the 50th Anniversary of Chief & Lolo Okali;
This event was live in Ohafia with the Senate Chief Whip present to grace the occasion.
On this day, the Chief Whip made solemn promise to in 2022, construct more roads in Ohafia.
Dr Orji Kalu in his speech, congratulated the couple for their laudable feats of the golden jubilee and prayed God for more years of fruitfulness.

Abia Community Confers Sen. Kalu With Highest Traditional Title.
Ihechiowa community in Arochukwu LGA on this day, conferred the Apex Chieftaincy title on the chief whip of the 9th Senate, Dr Orji Kalu.
This title “ The Ikenga Ata Igbo-Ukwu umuzomgbo Ihechiowa” conferred on the 9th chief whip by the traditional ruler of the community HRH, Eze Linus Nto Mbah, (Eze Udo 1) of Ata Igbo-Ukwu in umuzomgbo Autonomous ccommunity was merited by the infrastructural strides of Senator Orji Kalu in the red chambers.
This conferment was preceded by a holy mass at Mater Misericordia Catholic Church, in Umuzomgbo.

Sen. Michael Nnachi, Hon. Toby Okechukwu, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Hon. Amechi O. Danis, Chief Chekwas Okorie, Sen. Obinna Ogba, Rep. Makwe Livinus M, Dr. Oliver Osi,
Hon Ali Okechukwu and Hon Stanley Ohajuruka at the end of a meeting held recently in Igbere, Bende local government area of Abia, convened by Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu towards the actualisation of Igbo Presidency in 2023.
On this day and in this meeting, the decision to give block vote and throw full weight behind any major political party, particularly the APC and PDP, that zones its presidential ticket to the South East in 2023 general election was made.

14 Brigade Hosts Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
Situated in his Senatorial District is the 14 Brigade Command. With the Armed Forces remembrance day in view, the 14 Brigade commander hosted the Chief Whip of the 9th Senate in Ohafia.
It was an opportunity for the widows of our fallen hero’s to receive from the Chief whip, reliefs of food items and cash to get them going.
Emotions came real as droplets in tears rolled down Senator Kalu as he consoled with the widows.
